32 bits DWord.

I think it has nothing to do with 64 or 32 bits OS, I have W7 32 bits but still can create 64 bits QWord in the registry. Also here doesn't say anything about using QWord in 64 bits OS: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/libr...=vs.85%29.aspx

Anyway if it doesn't work with DWord you can try using QWord, I don't think it will break anything

What are the specs of the pc?

Mine is very old (Athlon 64 3500+, 2gb RAM, 9600GT), and I get like 20fps in ATAG (with drops when the game loads terrain, and I suppouse that in combat with a few other planes it will be more like 15 fps than 20). It's not a spectacular performance but for me is definitely not impossible to play. I even turned on trees and shadows, and put terrain on medium cause on low was very very ugly. With the last beta patch of course...

But all this without using teamspeak 3. I don't know why it uses a lot of cpu in my pc and ruin the performance of every game I have. In CoD case it goes from 20 fps to 1 with TS3 running.

His specs are below. Even on low settings across the board his performance is unplayable.

Quote:
Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5000+ (2 CPUs), ~2.6GHz
Motherboard: ASUS
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Hard Drive: 119 GB
Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 9400 GT
Operation System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit, Service Pack 1

It's probably the graphics card fault. I have worst processor, less memory, but slightly better graphic card.

Well finally brought a copy and sorry to all for the "me too" post.
I get the black screen described. Tried a full reinstall via steam and then patched up. Went for lowest graphic settings. Is my machine just too ancient for this? I gutted as big fan of the il2 series and been lurking for rather a long time on these forums and waited patiently for things to improve. New machine needed maybe? My current machine:

HP Pavillion
Physical memory 3GB
AMD Phenom 9500 Quad-Core Processor
Nvidia GeForce GT 440

Voted in bug tracker also.

Did you read about the TDR in the last pages?

I'm not sure if this should be considered a bug btw. It's more like a shitty feature from windows lacking patience.

Hi HR_Naglfar, Thanks for reply , yes I applied the Tdr fix to the registry as below:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\GraphicsDrivers
Edit - New - DWord
Name = TdrDelay
Value Data = 12

Didn't change things for me. Still have black screen.
Got good sound but no visual yet
