Those annoying blue lines are still there , but ... a really massive performance improvement in terms of frame rates - very nearly double! Using the BD track as a benchmark, the frame rates were (avg, max, min):

Ver. 15950: 27, 62, 6
Ver. 17582: 46, 103, 5

Graphic settings were identical for each version (time to go and turn them up ).

Thanks guys, a great effort! Now, if you can just have someone look at those blue lines on the horizon ...

If not, the server is running a different version than you are and it's no wonder you get problems when going online.

Until your favorite servers are updated to this version, it's best to test offline to avoid getting "false alarm" bug reports that are simply caused by a mismatch between server and client versions. Cheers
ATAG says beta in server description. Everyone on there is talking about and running patch.

Very busy on there but my machine managed to keep above 40fps. Major stutters at one point though, but a lot better than usual.

Worth pointing out I turn mirror off as a matter of habit.

Bug: External View - bomb craters visible behind aircraft (i.e. bomb craters always on top)

Bombers still flip about like stunt flyers, maybe this hasnt been adressed yet but I thought AI FM stuff was high on the list, and this ones a realism killer.

Frame rate higher, less big fps dips, though Im running Adaptive Vsync from driver settings, it still seems a little better, but stutters have increased.

Had 2 CTDTs after about 20 minutes in a FMB single player mission, but thats not changed.

Didnt think cockpits looked as washed out as they did pre-patch and landscape graphics look slightly better, again less wash-out.

The sim ran perfect on my system before the patch; now, it seems to run slightly faster....

Shadows seem to render a little better.

A couple of new serious bugs, nevertheless:

-On all planes, now at the beginning of the flight oil an radiator temps are hot and heated for running; If you don´t open the radiators, even with the engine off they increase and you can burn your plane; It is as if the game thinks that the engine is running...

-On the spitfire, the mirror cannot be seen and the reticle projects outside limits.

Despite those bugs, Thanks a lot for the progress!

Edit:

It seems that the Spit mistakes are some remainding of old graphic engine; further tests improve thinks on this....And the framerate improvement becomes more evident each new try...;D

Another edit:

The more I test the patch, the better .... all the reported graphical glitches seem to be fading the more you run the game, probably remains of the old caches being renewed. And, AA now works on my system; with the latest beta nvidia drivers but you don´t need to force anythink anymore. .

My rig:

INtel I7-2600K.
6Gb RAM DDR3.
Geforce GTX 580
windows 7 64 Bits.

I seem to remember arround release and the following patches, that everyone had crap performance etc. until they shut down the game and restarted it again.

Btw, i have launcher crashes even before i get into the game so iv unistalled the intire game and are now waiting for steam to download it again.

AA works on your setup? Could you post a screen shot showing a 109 external view?

Did you force AA with driver settings? It'd be great if you could share details of your settings.

Thanks

ThAnKs,

RedToo.

Cache folder is in the 1C Softclub folder under your documents, just delete the whole thing, it will be rebuilt on next launch.
