I've purchased and downloaded 'Adolf Galland, The Expert' a couple of hours ago.

Initial impressions are very good.

I've only played the first mission of the 303 squadron Polish campaign. This first mission is almost like a campaign in its self as there seems to be so much going on. So, a huge amount of gameplay in this add-on. There's also some new features such as frequent radar updates, random events during missions and the ability to call up reinforcements if things are looking grim (subject to availability of course!). Dogfights are pretty hectic and I'd say that Desastersoft have tweaked the AI parameters so that they perform better than in the stock CloD.

Performance is good even with many aircraft aloft and I rarely saw less than 40 fps with 50-60 being the norm.

I really think this opens up a whole new feel of immersion to CloD, something that has been sorely missing for us single players.

Nice one Desastersoft, I look forward to 'Channel Battles' also.

Note:- The cost in GB pounds was around £21. The download is around 800mb.

Cheers,

Choccy.

( All kidding aside ,I DID know about European date procedures , but am just dumb enough to forget it every once in a while. My college English teacher who was a Brit & verry particular on the subject would be very annoyed!)

A bit wierd picking out 303 isn't it? JG26 were in from day 1 but 303 weren't, they missed half the battle.

Not really considered that 303. was the most successful squadron of the BoB (as the JG 26 "Schlageter was on the other side).

Desastersoft probably intended to provide us with the best of the best

I just bought Helmut Wick and man it is amazing! You get a heck of a lot for your money!

The only thing that is a bug is starting the aircraft. It's already running in the '2/JG3 Campaign' and the '602 Squadron Campaign'. The game still runs you through all of the start ups even though you're airbourne.

Anyways THANK YOU Desastersoft!

CAN YOU please make 'Channel Battles' a separate download?

Hey great! I cannot wait

Oh hey guys I just want to say one more thing about their expansions. Yes they have 41 missions but each of those has anywhere from 20 - 30+ sub-missions so you're getting well over 300 sorties!!!!!!!

Has anyone figured out the best way to call up reinforcemnts so that they will actually arrive at the right place & right time or even to get them to joinn your flight? I know howto get them to take off but they never seem to arrive anywhere near where I need them!
