So, while I patiently wait, is there anything I should know about Windows 7 and Clod? (I've done searching but haven't found much) As far as I know I'll have to create a folder in my SSD (example.. C:/Games), and then direct my Steam and Clod installation to that folder.

Is the above statement correct?

Are there any ports I need open for multiplay?

Is there anything else I should know?

The questions still remain...

Is it is as simple as I have put it re: windows 7/Clod and installation?
Are there any ports to open up for CloD online play?

Thats a real freak problem you have there. There is no reason for it. All I can suggest is HDD error or software...

You should be having a ball with that system. What about running some kind of monitoring software to try and pin point the problem?

I think you should use the anti virus that I'm using
You can direct your Steam installation
Ports, Windows will ask you if you want to give Steam control to change...of course you do

Antivirus software could actually cause a problem.

Is the PSU big enough?
