I lose planes all the time...pretty much if I look away from them for any period of time I don't see them again until they're shooting me down.

ATAG server is in Chicago..i have the crappiest DSL on earth and my ping is 60. The ones in russia give me like 120 ping, they all seem to work though.

I have experienced stuff like you descibe...but who cares, 49 other people are on the server. Chase a different plane...most dont lag, but ive seen a few people with 600+ pings.

If you spent more time playing and getting better you would be better at it. When you complain, just remember I'm the one shooting YOU down with a Xbox360 controller!!

Why can't I find the Teamspeak3 server for ATAG? The game server page shows it as 216.52.XXX.XX. I've searched all Teamspeak3 servers and can't find 216.52.XX.XXX.

I fly the 109, too. Trust me, it gets easier eventually.

[QUOTE=Gollum;358065]The good news.... I joined ATAG server last night and there were 57 people on. Thats awesome. I really hope the community continues to grow.

The bad news....

A) It is still extremely difficult to find a fight and maintain visual contact on your prey even with 57 people on the server. I constantly see things and they vanish in mid air.

Make sure that you have calibrated your monitor correctly. it makes a world of difference in spotting the small dots in the distance. Before I was given this advice last week I couldn't see squat. The image looked great but I just could not see the other aircraft in the above a couple of hundred metres. Post calibration its a completely different sim when you can see the other planes.

Cheers

What exactly do you mean by "calibrating" your monitor?
