I think it has potential, and not looking for money back or anything daft like that, just from the screens and vids posted as WIP it looked smooth as silk and very nice to look at, at the min from what i see it has neither.

Anyone else seem to find textures on the aircraft jump from being sharp to blurry?!

@kalimba what's the use to know what is missing? Game development is an evolving process and things change from point A to point B. I know they used to have an animation of a pilot jumping out of the plane, but it used too much resources and got dumped..

..now if you know that there is a effect missing from 6 months ago, what are you gonna do about it, ask the developers to bring it back?

I'm getting so tired of all these posts about the darn hollywood prop effect.

I've had a pilots license for 20 years and you CAN'T see the prop while flying IRL either!!! FOR HEAVENS SAKE ITS A CAMERA DEFECT! In a real plane you hardly see anything of the prop... Sigh...

Lets see...My point is : what 's the use of showing us Friday Updates with
fantastic photorealistic screens and features if they are not to be in the game ?
The only consequence is to cause high expectations and then desappointement.
Many fans on this forum were waiting for COD to come out to upgrade their PCs...Now, if spending lots of $$$$$ does not make this game look much better than what we already have in terms of gear because so many top features will NOT make the game, or will only be available in few months/years, we will wait and see what COD has to offer next...
ANd yes, we could hope, not ask, but hope that COD will look like we were shown in the last 6 months...

Salute!

Yeah...But...What about StarWars tracers ?

Ok..Seriously now...
Shouldn't we see, sometimes, some "reflexion" f/x from the sun or a light source
on the propeller ? Or is it also a camera effect ?

Thanks !

what star wars tracers? who has fire with this kind of bullet and can say it is not the true effect for this kind of tracers?

and in COD there are different kind of tracers.... it depends of the kind of bullet you configure on your plane.....

Sure - sometimes you can see reflections etc but normally the prop is very matte to prevent that. And a low rpm you can see some "blurring"... Like mentioned. Try looking at a table fan, and then shoot a movie of it. So a prop that "counter rotates" etc is a WoP effect
