I have the regular Saitek rudder pedals. There are the same as the combat ones as far as I can tell, though with plastic foot-rests rather than aluminum.

Anyway I have never had any problem with them. My only minor complaint would be that they tend to "stick" just a little bit in the center. I suspect this is actually a feature to make you more aware of when your rudder is centered but I would prefer a smooth action through the center for fine adjustment/aiming. Anyway I just realized while typing that I could probably fix this by setting a small deadzone so thanks for making me think of it!

Yes, the Combat pedals have the exact same base as the old Saitek unit. The only difference is the metal pedals instead of plastic.

So these are the best to buy? http://shop.strato.de/epages/219707....%2011%20007%22

Seem to include toe brakes and all. Hopefully the shipping to Oz isn't an arm and a leg...

Shipping worked out at about $50au, but be warned my pedals took nearly three months to arrive in Oz, owing to security measures in Europe, as they were required to be sent by sea.

I can confirm my Saitek Combat pedals arrived,really simple to set up and go really well with my Warthog,great combo.Thanks for all the advice guys.
