I remember Luthier reporting in October that they were putting the finishing touches on a new graphics engine that would increase fps by 50 percent and how much he loved flying around listening to the wonderful new sounds. I wish I had what he's been smoking. I'm just saying...give us a realistic idea of what we can expect in the next few months. Even if it’s nothing!
And whatever he says regarding timings or content will be used against him at a later date, if you have been reading any of the update threads you'd know this. Much as I'd love to see some more meat in the updates I just don't see it happening with the attitudes of many forum members as they are.

Then I guess they should change the name of the post to "Friday - We Haven't A Clue."

Or rather, 'Friday, we know but we're not telling you lot due to previous bad behaviour, now get back on the naughty step'.

I know that many here including me have thrown MANY tantrums over a game. But in business and life in general, you say what you are going to do and do what you say. Luthier has said a lot over the last several months and delivered nothing. I'm not mad that they have been a little late of missed a few promised dates. WE HAVE GOTTEN NOTHING. I'm not even mad now. I just think I / we deserve an accurate, realistic assessment of where things stand.

That's what everyone wants to know and at this point you really should be able to pass along something. Until this thing gets fixed COD will stand for "Collector of Dust" as far as I’m concerned.
Well, i can't help but cover old ground here, because i'm giving an answer to an often repeated and answered question.

The reason we don't get concrete dates is that they usually slip and all hell breaks loose. And while people are upset when dates slip, if something comes early or on time but it's not done to sufficient quality, the exact same people usually go "why didn't you delay it to make sure its working first?".

I mean, it's the exact same thing that happened with the entire game: a lot were anxiously demanding it and then the same people said it would be better off being delayed.

Come on, you've been around long enough to know how things work

So what aircraft do you want to see in the next update>

Personally I want to see the Frederick or a P-40

Then they started to see the I-16 taking off hurrily to intercept bombers formations from airfields around Madrid and then flying low over Madrid's roofs trying to climb to get them. Hence the nick "Rat", as rats could be seen running on the roofs of old houses of that age.

"Rata" is also a Spanish despective name. I guess, it was also applied when "Ratas" gained air superiority in the following weeks over Franco's He-51 and CR-32 and bombers started to be shot down.

The nick "Mosca" (fly) was given by republican pilots and republican gouvernement propaganda as the wooden boxes containing the disassembled planes received by ship from URSS had the word "Mockba" (Moscow) in cyrillic stenciled on the sides, as another poster said. Hence the spanish common started to call her "Mosca".

Two nicknames for same plane.
I didn´t knew that. Great explanation. Thanks.
Esto no lo sabía. Una explicación estupenda, gracias.
