Any tips for getting someone off your six?

when should you start the roll? I seem to be having trouble timing it right

I often use a rather easy tactic to shack someone off.
Dive hit WEP Pull up and do a Immelmann, after that again a tight turn downwards, after that my six is mostly cleared, esp. against planes with weak climb rates.
