like I suspected, I started using the spitfire II, and IX and at about 50 kills from playing simulation and realistic I unlocked the following (this is online matches only):
*Spitfire mk XVI (clipped wings) *Spitfire mk XVI - 2 x 7.7mm Browning machine guns, 2 x 20mm Hispano mk I cannons, 2 x 250 lb bombs
