Guys,
i was out and noticed the thrustmaster mappable controller in a store...so i bought it on a whim...and it will do everything you have all been asking. ok, its not great that you have to buy a new controller....but if you think the game has long term appeal to you other than the controls, its a must buy. so far i have just swapped right and left stick function...and swapped L3 for the triangle ...so now i just hold triangle to get free view and move stick....works great.
