As well as for X360, 3d rendering resolution is 720p, AA level is also 2x for both platforms.
Of course, consoles have different chips, different AA algortihms (don't know which is the name for 360, but it is called Quincunx for PS3 (some guys assumes Quincunx is better than 360 version, I personally can hardly see the difference)), etc.
But stop speculations about 'real resolution is different'. It is not GTA4, so no guessing. They are the same.
