Yes that would be interesting to know, with the answer on this question I would also like to hear a definitive answer on the MP cockpits of the german planes. Virtual? "Real"? I know I am repeating myself, but getting no feedback from the developers side makes me think, whatever was said in the live demo

This thread was started for the gunner position not the german cockpits, they will communicate when they are ready.

If the cockpits are brought up in this thread anymore your post will be deleted. Not meaning your post in general, I was meaning any posts by anybody. Sorry I wasn't singling you out.

They wont comunicate until the game is out, might well be.

No you did not detect me being pissed off, I am only stating that there was two threads with concern about german cockpits and this thread is about gunner positions. If they wish to comment on cockpits in more detail than what was said on the Q&A on the demo then they will, Anton has a list of questions from us to ask the publisher and when he gets the green light to answer he does. In a forum thread the thread is there for the topic in question, the topic should not stray.

That is fine because that is a gunner position. Hopefully they will be "real" also.

I'm pretty sure that during the demonstration the other morning that he mentioned that gunners are 3rd person only. Check the video about 1/3 of the way through at the IL-2 mission.

Just watched the video again and I didn't hear him say it was 3rd person only, they only thing he said is that "you can switch to rear gunner view". So we will have to wait.

I'm not so sure abput this either. That's why I suggested it.

Looking back, I found in one of my older threads that someone asked if the weapon's turret was visible and the answer was no.

Hmm, sorry, I don't know where I got that then? I could swear I remember hearing that somewhere.
