I've been looking to start some models, but I was wondering what is a good model kit brand? I'm looking for detailed accurate models (1:32). (Preferably easy to find in Canada)

try the Revell 1/32 Junkers 88 - this has only been out a year and retails at £40 in the UK, so I'd guess not much more on your side of the pond Very cheap very big and very easy to build, not to mention extremely accurate - fabulous value for money. http://www.scaleworkshop.com/gallery/ju88a132bg_1.htm If you want something slightly smaller the Fw190D-9 by Revell is a Hasegawa re-box and also builds into an astonishing model http://www.scaleworkshop.com/workshop/fw190d932lg_1.htm hope that helps John Last edited by Skii; 08-14-2009 at 09:16 AM. |

Each brand has it's good kits and it's bad kits. You really need to think about what aircraft you want to make and then look for some reviews and buy the best kit for that aircraft.

Two big brands for me are Trumpeter (expensive but very very detailed) and Hasegawa.
With them you will find a lot of WWII fighters models in a 1/32 scale. |
