Ok, it seems that tere will be no patch for my version...very disappointing.

No, it doesn`t work.

"There is no supported version of NecroVision installed on your computer."

How do I extract the data from the patch.exe? In another topic someone managed to patch it this way....
Or can someone send me the extracted patch? I should be able to just overwrite the existing files.

OK, I just sent the E-Mail. Could you post this issue with the German version as "Sticky" if a solution is found? Maybe more Germans are interested in it...

New Info: The patch for the censored German version is in the works..it should be realeased soon.

How the hell did you manage to play the censored version without going insane? I am honestly impressed Everyone i know who lives in Germany/Australia (or anywhere else it had been censored) refused to play it after hearing all the stupid changes that were made. There was even a topic not too long ago from a someone who bought the German version and was complaining about all the features they removed.

They basically removed everything that made this game unique. Dismemberment, blood sprays (replaced with gray dust) and the most important of all, apparently the enemies dissapear and do not raise from the dead.

Which is why i don't think this topic is necessary to be stickied - There probably isn't many people who bothered to keep playing the censored version...

On a side note, if you wanted to play the game as it was meant to be played, follow the steps Gniarf gives in this topic:
