It should be a mark 1b with 2 canons, not 2 canons and 4 .303's. Some might have still had the spaces on the wings for .303's, but they didn't carry them.

After flying it for awhile I'm beginning to wonder if we aren't flying a Jug in Mustang clothing.

It flys like a P47, it has a P47 cockpit and the mission fits a P47. Maybe the cockpit is messing with my head but to me it feels more like a P47 all around than it does a P51.

Heh. I felt the same way too. About the flight characteristics, not the cockpit that is.

Plane feels heavier than a P51 should too. I'm going to dig out Il2 1946 and play it with a 360 controller to see if this plane flys more like a P51 or a P47
