Stability is ALWAYS better than a lower number. The problem with most high pings is exactly as explained earlier in the thread and that is the number of servers or hops. Like a chain, your internet connection to a particular server is reliant upon the stability (and oftentimes traffic) passing through all of the links.

Sadly, there is usually little you can do to improve it. Even if you had a wide open pipe, one of the many links you have to pass through may hiccup. You, therefore, would have a better ping, but still have potential stability issues.

what can i say is that i have telsra cable and i love it, it fast and i have no problem.

My ping is fairly stable and I don't experience warping to any great degree ( only when opponents disapear from my gun sights in a blink of an eye! ) So I guess I shouldn't complain. I can't remember the last time I was kicked of a server for high ping rate.

Curse those invisible skins! Where do I get me one!

There is no invisible skin.
It might have been a modded Server and you didnt had the plane in the right version installed. i.e. Bf109 E1 or E3 or Fw190 A3 or Spitfire MkI or Hurricane MkIID or SeaHurricane or, or, or.......

There was/is a damage skin that makes 'holes' appear in the plane structure. If you modded this skin (mask) and made the plane one 'big hole', it would effectively be invisible.
If you don't have the right skin the server usually uses the default skin... usually

Wow! I can't possibly think why anyone would need to goto such lengths to specifically shoot me down (Who say's I'm paranoid!!!!!!) . I'm easy meat for anyone with half a brain and a speck of co-ordination.

I reviewed my track last night and found a few a few interesting things. When I was flying I could distinctly hear the tin-can rattle of rounds hitting me. In the track there was no sound, but at times my plane would shudder. I couldn't see any bullet holes in my plane either?

I'll try reviewing it in arcade mode tonight and see if any arrows end up in my plane. (I assume it should work?)
EDIT- Tried it and no luck No Arrows showing!

But i guess stranger things have happened at sea!
