Yeah, just a sliding glass windscreen. Pretty similar to that on the DC-3.
Not sure you can open it in the sim, but there you go.

Anywho, I posted this in the 4.14 thread but it's more appropriate here: When using the mouse wheel as the throttle the sensitivity is very low. Takes multiple turns just to make small changes in throttle setting. In previous versions of the sim the sensitivity was much more and worked well.

Not that much of an issue when flying level bombers, but it becomes a problem when flying fighters, as I look around with the mouse and use the mouse wheel to apply throttle as needed.

I don't know if there's anyway to adjust the throttle sensitivity (the three control axis you can). Just wanted to post this here.
