We might finally get to fly the plane flown by some of the bravest, yet least recognized, pilots of WW2.

Somewhere I have a photo of the original German spec instrument panel removed from one the Swiss JuAir Ju-52s it was then restored and is now on display in foyer of the Air force museum at Dübendorf. I'll see if I can dig it up.

I should also have some shots that I took from the flight deck when I was fortunate enough to receive a flight for my birthday some years back.

Yes I was very lucky, it was a present from the in-laws.

As for shots, sadly the in-flight shots were taken back in my pre-digital days, but I'll have look through the albums and see if any are worthy of scanning, however I'm sure I have later shots of the instrument panel, taken at the museum post-digital and saved to a disc somewhere here, I did have a quick look for them on Sunday but thus far no luck.

Otherwise you'll have to wait until mid-September, as I will be back in Switzerland, and as one of my wife's best friends lives in Dübendorf, I usually get dropped off at the museum while she is busy having some girly-catch-up time.
