I don't know, the various sites I'm on have been finding tidbits about it here and there. Who needs MS, Sony and Nintendo when you've got indie publishers and the big 3rd party guys on board? The exclusive games only account for about one *good game* per year on each console. LOL
Turns out WB is one of the backers, that's a big vote of confidence making the idea of just hosting such a beast seem more likely. http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/hr/...ed6afe27455ac6 |

Hmmm it would never work in Australia because broadband is too slow and the prices for unlimited data are way too high. I am capped at 4gb per month. I would imagine this technology would chew that up in a days.

First of all, let's see how it works in real conditions, advertising is good, but now it only good words. If the technology really works as it is claimed, then I think most of companies will support it.

5 years ago free online streaming video was unheard of. Absurd even. I'm not forecasting what's possible and what isn't anymore. ![]() |

I don't like the idea, you would be renting the games not owning them, if there is something wrong with your internet, or even when the company goes broke you would be left with nothing. Also the price would be too high, probably a monthly subscription fee plus a set price for the games.
