If you installed patch 1.0 and 1.22 it sounds like you installed the patches for the original IL2 into FB. Forget Forgotten Battles.

Get this: IL2 1946.

Start with that. Then go here to get patching directions. If you are installing it on W7 create a folder on your C drive called Games or something .. but do not install it into any of the program folders. It will not work right if you do.
