nope, you can't have more than 5 stackes in battle at start. After learning Reserves skill you can have up to two stacks in reserve but they're not participate in battle.
Some ways to have more than 5 stacks in battle: -use Phantom spell -use Griffins' Split abbility -use abbility of thorns to summon other thorns -use druids abbility to summon beasts, bears All summoned stacks will disappear after battle
