Maybe you can solve your problem with steam with a complete fresh install of Steam.Go to
http://www.revouninstaller.com/revo_..._download.html Download Revo-unsinstaller.Just choose the Free version.Use Revo-uninstaller to uninstall Steam. If it is done, restart your pc. Go to http://store.steampowered.com/ and install Steam again. I install things like this with UAC turned off and all with administrator rights Maybe you can check your settings of your firewall, maybe you are just blocking Steam. |

When you open Steam does it show COD as one of your games, and does Steam show COD as installed? Steam can list COD as one of your paid games, but not installed.

STORMRIDER..!! FOLLOWING YOUR ADVICE I REMOVED ALL MY cOd INSTALLS AND STEAM USING REVOUNINSTALLER.com and reinslled STEAM..got fresh Dl of CoD..but..it would not start..Steam message "Fail to Start". Have question into UBIsoft to find out what to do. I thin your approach was correct because my blundering around has probably caused problems I do not understand. Many thanks for you advice.
