doesnt sound like RoF bought anything, its more like the RoF group is subcontracted by 1c management to create a il2 sturmovik series "sequel" by name only, but it will basically be a RoF ww2 sim.

for this they can use the sturmovik name and get the modelers who created the recent BoM objects, and receive the objects they already modeled

Nope. The two teams were merged, though the two companies remain separate. Nothing was subcontracted.

You can quit the disinformation campaign any time, BTW.

I think you should quit the disinformation campaign. The only part of Maddox left is the modelers. And they are only there to port models from the cliffs engine to ROFs. There are no programmers from Maddox. This whole venture is nothing more than a re-skinning of the ROF engine with WWII planes.

Sounds to me like you are INCREDIBLY BITTER. All that work you did just down the drain huh? such is life. You get another year of COD then your player base goes bye bye. Might as well move on at that point to don't you think?

Hooves all you do is complain. I think bitterness is your middle name. I have never received so many complaints from TS all directed at you. All I did was answer the question. Please take a deep breath before you post anymore.

One of the potential problems is for online players, especially where scenario play is involved. If many aircraft are added at extra cost some guys may not want or be able to afford them. Of course it will depend on how much they cost.
You don't need to buy all the aircraft unless you intend to fly them. Most people never fly "all the aircraft" in any game. Even with the limited aircraft in CloD there are aircraft I have not even bothered to sit in - I simply have no interest in those aircraft.

In RoF there are certain aircraft that will cover just about any scenario - many times aircraft go on sale for 50% off - $2.99 for an aircraft is cheap. Its only expensive for those who "have to have every plane, weapon, and pilot mod" - even then it can still end up being cheaper then buying a full game and follow up expansion given the bulk rebates and sales.

With with WW2 there are a lot more aircraft options but even then if they focus on releasing aircraft and maps based on specific battles then people can just buy those things they want.

But what if you are on a fixed income? What if you only have an Obama phone which is free and you can't afford $2.99?
