Hi MP

Not sure if this will help, but I see both. I was doing some high altitude testing recently using the ‘Free flight’ option with the BF109 and Spit, and both displayed contrails somewhere above 20 000 feet and I could see the exhaust flames. The 109’s exhaust flames were yellow/blue when it topped out at 7000 metres, while the Spit’s were still blue.

Strangely, the Spit took less effort to get to 25 000 feet and felt like it could still get a bit higher, while I struggled a bit to get the 109 to 7000 metres with constant pitch and throttle adjustment.

I would think that this is a replay issue as I don’t recall seeing exhaust flames in any of the pre-recorded tracks.

Even duct tape can't fix stupid... but it can muffle the sound.
