The sorcerer's pet frog and plundered stylilst

I have the same problem with the plundered stylist. But I let some of the mobs run and now I'm wondering if I actually had to fight them in order to get the ornament packs, like you had to fight the wolf on Isterrig in order to complete the cabin boy quest.

I did finish without completing those quests so they aren't really necessary but I think my next play through, I'll just fight everybody so I don't miss anything else.

I never let any creatures run but this quest does not work for me. I have 2 packs that youre suppose to collect but i also have other items of clothing that info describes as "quest" items. I assumed they are one of the 5. Since my quest tells me to return to Ratmir, this is quite annoying since he Ratmir doesnt seem to notice that I have them. Maybe he's just an idiot and I would really like the option to "Attack". That way I could get rid of the built up fustration I'm experiencing with this quest

I am also blocked on odin's flag. I only have one in inventory. I think this is blocking my main quest and I cannot continue in the game.

Both quests bugged for me as well.

I've gotta say, I have NEVER seen such a poorly tested released game before. I've always been a big fan of the King's Bounty games, but it was a slap in the face to sell the game in this condition.

And then to have to completely restart the game in order for patch fixes to kick in? Incredible.... absolutely incredible...

Agreed, this is pretty bad. I am going to see if finding the ornaments in a different order fixes things.

Has anyone resolved or found a way to get this to work?

When I finish them "in any order", I only get 2 in my inventory, despite the quest log saying I have gotten all 5.

Never had problems with quests .Every one of them worked fine here.

I saw this tip posted by another forum user here that worked for me.

"Open the console (shift ~) and type: item cloth_pack
Repeat 3 times. You have now 5 items. "


I am personally now stuck on Odin's Flag as well. I sailed to Vastland, got the flag from the chest, got the quest update. I sailed back to Riftland. The King won't recognize my quest. I only have one Odin's Flag in my inventory.

I really am done with this game if I now have to start all over if that is required to progress the main storyline. I've encountered numerous bugs that should've easily been spotted and flattened by a one time playthrough by the developers, or through a beta-test by players. And then I've not even mentioned the atrocious amounts of spelling errors that a simple spellchecker should pick up.

It's really sloppy work I'm sorry to say. I love the series, but I guess they were really hard-pressed to release this latest one early.

Except using the console will deem me as a "cheater" at the end of the game's high score listing.

I'll see if I can jigger around this. If not, I'll just take the quest loss.
