what's it matter if you can reach the max level or not? in many old school rpgs the only way to reach the max level was to 'sploit' or 'grind' endlessly in a way that was pointless nonsense... if this is the same scenario is that a problem?

why is beating the game below the max level bad?

Ill explain to you since you are not quite understanding the point of the post. They put an achievement to get to max level. So max level should be attainable with some form of effort outside of exploiting game mechanics or cheating. Old school rpgs did not have an achievement to do that so the level you beat the game at was what it was as long as you were strong enough to beat the final boss. And I doubt you played most "old school" rpgs cause most "old school" rpgs 90 percent of them did not have a level cap.

So no this is not the same scenario. The fact is they put the achievement in with the regards you would be able to go to Marshan Swamp and clear the other half of demonis which never happened and why do you think you see so many empty houses in the game those were going to be quest they never put in. If i recall The Legend had almost twice as many quest in it so that is why I came up 5 levels short of the achievement they are saying is possible.

I like to put as much challenge into a game as I can and completing achievements is something I like to do and they happened to add achievements into this King's Bounty so when I am striving to complete an achievement they put into the game only to find out it was never possible I think is a poor job on their part.

Maybe that will enlighten you a little better since the original post obviously confused you.

This whole game is only about exploiting. Unit exploitation, spell exloitation, items, etc. And I don't know what you're talking about with cheating. I was not reffering to cheating, only losers cheat. You get infinite xp by legit means. It's not my fault the game allows that.

Also use (and multiply) some Ancient Knowledge scrolls if you find them and that gets you to 70.

This is where you are wrong. The whole game is not about exploiting its about taking advantage of the weaknesses of your enemies. There is a big difference there that you do not seem to understand. If you are exploiting you are not playing the game as intended and are more or less cheating in a way the game allows you to. So I will explain to you in a more simple term since I can tell things are not easily understood by you and spell check seems to be failing you even when its programed into website.

Using fire against plants....taking advantage of a weakness
Using slow on a fast melee enemy....taking advantage of a weakness
Using Chargers,Calm Rage,Runic Word....exploiting infinite mana and rage the way most people do for a no loss run
Crafting an item that you can fight the keepers and then destroying it to get the same amount of crystals if not more back and then spamming valkyrie gold during the battle.......exploiting infinite gold and xp and crystals

You get the point between exploiting and taking advantage of weaknesses. The game is a single player game only and like most single player games they all have exploits in them that the developer does not bother to put limitations on them cause its not a multiplayer game so they do not bother with it and work on more important things. Look at Skyrim you can exploit that game 500 times over "legitimately" but you know when you are exploiting. Its really up to you if you want to spend your time exploiting a single player game and try to say oh yea I beat that game the legit way even though you know the developers never intended for that game mechanic to be used that way.

The game allows cheat codes too so that is okay too right?

Oh yea on the Ancient Knowledge scroll I mentioned that in my first post but I guess you missed that too since the game shouldn't require making 50 Ancient Knowledge scrolls to achieve max level. If you need so I can could probably simplify this even more for you and not use such big words next time.

I can tell you are a bit bewildered, matey, so I will try to write an explanation so clear, that even You can understand it.

You are not the one to decide how is this game "intended" to be played. I installed the game, got into it, and use whatever I can use if I want. You seem to be bad at basic logic, because cheating means doing something that the game doesn't allow you to. Please try at least to not contradict yourself.

I ask you then, Killing 1000 polar bears with 1 single royal snake? What is this,, taking advantage of a weakness? Or a game mechanic exploitation? As I sayed earlyer, this whole game is about such exploitation, whether you or anybody else like that or not. Beating 1000 bears with 1 snake isn't strategy, isn't cleverness, isn't "taking advantage of a weakness", - it's quite clearly, exploitation my son. Some like it and some hate it but it's exploitation nonetheless.

It's well known that developers themselves intended to make it possible to beat 1000 polar bears with a royal snake. They with all knowledge of it, chose to do so. Not me. I didn't do anything. I'm just exploting what I can, effectively raping the game. Well, I chosen the Impossible difficulty, and they sayed I must do whatever I can in order to beat an invincible enemy. So? I'm doing just that.
Just like everybody else.

Jesus, NO, dude, that would be cheating. Cheat codes are definetly NOT part of the game, where did you get this false information from? Getting infinite Gold by legit means is respectable however.

This is not for YOU to decide. Game shouldn't let you to beat 1000 polar bears with 1 snake but... it does, so.. there's nothing that I, nor you, can change about that.

That's ok, don't bother. I hope you learn from what I told you.

Okay you still can not seem to catch on alright Ill break it down even further for you.

You are right, that is why I said that is not how the "developers" intended it to be played. That I clearly stated in my previous post.

then you go on to say.......

Seems as though spell check failed you again on a couple different occasions. Makes your point kinda moot when you can not even use the spell check the website provides to you and then you call me son as if I am a child.

You go on arguing about 1 single royal snake can kill 1000 polar bears. I almost do not even want to argue this point it is so bad of an example on your part. Royal Snake speed 3 with 1 space gap reach....Polar Bear speed 2 as soon as you attack once Polar Bears move in and kill you and no amount of Hero stats could save 1 Royal Snake from 1000 Polar Bears. For surely you could come up with a better example.

But I tell you what you seem so sure of yourself here that it is possible lets see a youtube video of 1 single Royal Snake taking on 1000 Polar Bears.

If you say so. I am sure you are the most respected person in King's Bounty. You keep on exploiting there cause the game allows it.

More than you could imagine...I learned so much from that last post. One thing especially I need to hold my side better so it does not hurt so much from laughing at your example.

My son... Here's how it goes:

The royal snakes move 3 and also can attack every 2 rounds at a distance of 2. When the royal snakes are at distance of 2 hexes from the Polar Bears they only have to WAIT. This is the part you seem not to be able to GRASP.

Take note I am not talking about a single stack of Polar Bears but MULTIPLE. This means I can kill with 1 single Royal snake not 1 stack of 1000 polar bears but 4 and even 5 stacks of 1000 polar bears.

To explain in a manner so that even those like you can understand, when they are at distance 2 , you just Wait, for them to complete their turn (they have initiative 4 and sankes 6). After they move, you simply attack them for free.

The next turn you just move away at distance 3. And they will only be able to come into distance 2 on their turn. THe turn after that you BACK AWAY 1 single turn and then press WAIT. After they move you attack for free, and REPEAT ad infinitum until you win.

I undersant you don't have enough strategy to do this but I do and many other that are good at strategy. BUt this isn't even strategy it's a classical and easy exploit of some poorly thought out game mechanic.

I really hope this helps cause I explain so that even you can undersant.

you couldn't beat 5 stacks of 1000 polar bears that way though because you'd get boxed in but it is a good way to beat 1000 anything slow, and even moreso if the enemy is FAST but you can cast slow on it and keep it slowed you can kill 1000 of almost anything melee that way, it's what I do all the time, although since I usually have more than 1 royal snake by the time I can cast slow constantly... it doesn't even take that long
