I was considering using it mainly for "maidens" but then I realized that "phantom" a spell I have never used in any other king's bounty games.. gives you her restore ability and it only costs 15 spell points.. vs. the 20 that a level 3 gift does + you get a free unit for 3 turns

I think it's possible to beat him no loss with maidens and phantom maybe too
