They are great, especially the bubble top just recently released.
I know that many of the modders are simply not willing to cut the beauty of their creations to meet TD's very old standards. Edit: Add to that, many modders simply see no need/want to work with them. EDIT 2: Some eye candy, courtesy of GJE52
