Its really unrealistic (like the ammo counters and the 2 bladed 109 Emil and the 109 has 30 cal US in the wings...) but I can ignore it and aprrciate the anime aspect. Last edited by 5./JG27.Farber; 10-13-2012 at 10:06 PM. |

.....and let's not forget the profound message underlying the animator's craft; that from hatred and bitterness, and the anvil of mortal combat, comes some of the most interesting simulations available today.

not to rain on this parade but i found this somewhat historically inaccurate, but above all, that it's humanly preposterous to depict the behavior of WWII pilots like this, like single-minded bloodthirsty thugs instead of regular sensitive beings faced with the human dilemma of having to fly war missions. i bet it shouldn't be easy to pull the trigger without taking your heart out of it.
btw the predictable 'war turns you like this' argument doesn't sell this to me by no means. i'm huge fan of anime and on an aesthetics level some parts are cool, but the end result leaves me cold. anyway i'd like to suggest a much more accurate and adult approach. and sorry if i crashed the party with the contradictory view.. ![]() |
