These tournaments are quite common and very popular especially in Russian community, they have got lots of very strong pilots, some of them specialise on duels only. This has got long tradition even from old Il-2 times...

Last year's tournament was mostly 109s (obviously ) but as they could chose plane they liked for one of the matches and you could see some Hurricane or Spitfire duels. Very interesting. I've been watching most of the matches on stream provided, was great stuff. As for Mr.X he did very well but as I said there are specialists and he didn't make it too far iirc. You can find whole rooster and results in here somewhere (Ataros started the thread). Normal ATAG pilots would have very little chances, I know very few 109 pilots I would bet any money on, some of these Russian guys are ridicuously good in E-fighting

i wouldnt count on any chances for me anyways Participating and then watching the stream when i am out after the first few rounds is what i thought of. Would definately be good education.
