Default BlackSix - Data anomaly

Blacksix I am making speed and climb tests and scripting out results including these:
part.ParameterTypes.I_EngineBoostPress
and
part.ParameterTypes.I_EngineManPress

I get different values for these in any set of readings which makes it difficult to analyse the results.

For example in the Hurricane Mk I 100 octane I can get I_EngineBoostPress of 8.1 while while I_EngineManPress reads 5.4 (same as cockpit gauge) at 3000rpm, also 8.8 and 6.3 at 2650 rpm.

Can you please ask Luthier to explain these differences and which parameter we should be using when comparing with historical data?

I also found that Boost Override Cutout does not change either of these readings so can Luthier explain that please?

I'd like to get these tests finished and fed back to you before any patch updates so could I have an answer quickly?

A lot of welcome improvements, many thanks team. Not had much time to explore this beta in great detail but just a few quick observations.

When exiting CloD, Windows reports launcher error.

Have noticed Spitfire reliability issues at high altitude.

Long server load times and much lower fps on ATAG than with previous patches/updates - (cloud issue?).

Default Cold be better

Tried last patch a pair of hours.

Tracers are a not bad adition at all. But as everybody say.....Trees apearing and disapearing?. I´d like to see, (now that they are developing the secuel), how can Il2 pilots attack their targets?. Vehicles are now visible from larger distances, but as you start to dive and try to strafe them....Suddenly trees appears in front of you!!!!. Amazing idea. Good cammo inded
And most important....stutters at least for me, are even worst that was before. Even if i have 50+ fps flying low level.

I think This could be better done.

On to the next link.
Not only do the patches not fix much but now they posted a link to a patch that installed all kinds of browser hijacks and adware to my computer. Thanks Luthier! The incredibar is a real pain to get rid of and I can't delete it from my registry. So now not only did you make me pay $60 for a game in Alpha testing, but now you've also made it so that I have to reinstall Windows again. How do they intend on releasing a sequel to this game? Aren't they using the same graphical engine? How do they even test a game with the stutters as bad as they are? Are they using some secret Russian computer that is built for the sole purpose of running this game at a smooth 60fps?

My frames are horrid with a 6990 and 6970 tri fire config.
I downloaded the latest patch and started a quick mission and noticed while
firing upon planes they puff green smoke now after being hit.

I tried going back to the steam updated version but the damn planes roll when in flight without even touching the joystick? Also the planes want to pitch up also without touching the stick????

So sad after the long, long, long wait for this sim.

This could very well be normal behaviour for prop driven planes. Have you trimmed the plane?

Yes I trim but it seems very excessive as I fly real aircraft and never do they need so much trim to obtain level flight.

The flight characteristics are way different between the patch and the un patched version.

I think flying a 1100HP fighter plane vs a 250-400HP civilian cessna or similiar is very different. The trim characteristics are good from what I can see. They fly pretty straight and level at cruise power and pitch for me. Sure they want to roll and pitch up under max power but they are high performance aircraft (for the time of course) Having said that I do think that the trim was porked a couple of patches ago in 1946!

Cessna's are a stable aircraft though, while WWII warbirds weren't, they're unstable.
The difference, if I understand correctly, is a stable aircraft will pretty much find its own level flight (for instance, after a wind gust, speed change etc), ie it will return to trimmed flight of its own accord, whereas an unstable aircraft will continue porpoise about getting more away from level flight (trimmed flight) with each porpoise
