Particles will always cause a hit to performance. The more there are in a scene, the lower the frame-rates. You can manage this by lowering graphics settings.

Cool Aircraft updates - COD and BOM

Thanks Blacksix for the update. The Lag-5 looks good and will obviously lead to a progressive update of this excellent fighter type.

Going back to Ilya's earlier comments about updating the series COD and BOM, it was my understanding that both Battle scenario's will use the same engine therefore when BOM is released with the Ju88A-4, you can fly this aircraft in COD etc. etc.

Hopefully BOM will release a Bf109F-2 which you could fly in COD, although to keep COD alive with the next phase after the Battle of Britain, from a marketing point of view, it would be excellent to see a Spitfire V, Typhoon and Focke Wulf 190A-2 or A3 released. The Typhoon was sadly left out of the old series and would be an ideal aircraft to have for the progression of the Western Front air battles.

I have been out of the scene for a while without a computer, I now have an excellent setup and am progressively updating some of my campaigns with a lot of new mission building scripting information. Sadly it has been a 'trial and error' progression without proper instructions, hopefully something has been written for BOM.

I am still enjoying COD, with all its faults it is still a mighty sim. In the Campaign mission building area I am finding out more and more every day which make the missions even better. Hopefully with the new patch to be released soon, things will get even better for COD - they will have to!

Very nice warbird, but la-5 is better in BoS (Battle of Stalingrad) than in BOM

Or we would have all russian front?

Once again they will add a smattering of aircraft types willy nilly and not cover any one area properly. This is classic Luthier behavior and would be infuriating, if I wasn't already resigned to it about thee or four years ago.

Blacksix, could you inform us if the next patch will be an alpha, beta or a final patch? The sequel (the pictures that you showed us) will be like CloD? (SP and MP sim)
Thanks a lot
Regards

This is crap guys.quote)

Why is the software makers can sell half baked products lately O smilidon, and get away with it. You would not buy a new car and when you go to pick it up it only has 3 wheels fitted, and you are told the will give you the other 2 when they have enough. This is starting to become the norm with games now, they take your money and give you a crap unfinished games that takes months or years to get fixed. not having the money does not cut it for me any more.If they cant afford to make a product properly they should not be allowed to sell it before its finished.

Off course he will. When the patch is published and when the sequel is in the news he will!
