It would've been fantastic to have had a flyable Wellington,Dornier,Battle or Hampden, but that's life I guess. Personally I would only contemplate purchasing a sequel if it meant that it's content would benefit 'The Cliffs Of Dover'.If the sequel had been aimed at the European air war with say your FW190's vs B17's to name but a few, then they would've got my interest,I would also have loved to have seen maybe a desert air war,but the Russian thing does'nt do it for me,which is a pity. Thanks for keeping us in the picture B6,although I'm starting to lose all hope and interest now of what 1C is working on for the future or more importantly if it has a future itself.

Thanks for that fascinating post. Since we're sharing, I am 100% sure that I won't be buying a tennis racket this year.

Having been away doing much in my life other than playing IL-2, I too have been waiting for the patch. But I also understand patience is needed and I see too many not waiting for this. \
Oleg and gang, keep up the good work and as always, release when it's ready! I'll be there when you do. As for the screen shots, the La-5 series has been and shall be my all time favorite WWII fighter to fly. With the La-5FN and La-7, flying and fighting was a joy. I cannot wait when this is released so I can once again enjoy it all over again. |

This is now becoming some sort of joke I think. I will not touch the sequel, on both a matter of principle and a loss of interest.
I just want a working product for the good money I paid, now. Last edited by trademe900; 06-22-2012 at 10:31 PM. |

This product IS working for many people, though it's by far not flawless.
And the sequel, as i understood all information about it, is just a expansion for the same game engine, which is also improved over the time, but nothing completely new.

3D fault:
Definitely, the jack for outside-of-the-aircraft rotating, of the spinner of La-5, on the tip of the nose of the aircraft, is put backwards! This way the spinner can not be rotated! Somebiody mentioned it before, I am just confirming! ~S! |

Me thinks thats what the majority would like at this time, the product paid for. BoM is all pie in the sky at the moment, with a few mediocre screenshots and more promises, nothing else.
