I'm out for a few beers later....will deffinately raise a glass to the man, He's off to a better place......which has a poignant irony with the title of the 'famous' song.

He enjoyed the boom that video made.He appeared in some videos addressing his fans and watching people from all around the world trying to impersonate him.He had a great laugh while watching those videos.I still remember the first time I saw that video, it was like 2 years ago and I literally rolled over the floor laughing at college.People passing by could not understand why me and my girlfriend could not stop laughing.From what I have read the original song lyrics where banned by the USSR, so Eduard as other singers decided to vocalize the song.May he rest in peace, he put a smile on a lot of people's faces.

from the little i had seen over the years about him. i have the impression he seemed happy and liked how his work was perceived ( also for the trololo)

My thoughts to all the people close to him that will miss him
