No crashes since.

Also be sure to use Winrar or 7zip to unpack the files, not Winzip.
And of course rename the intro video at \\Steam\steamapps\common\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover\parts\core\GUI\Logo.wmv to Logo_bak.wmv
How do I verify file integrity thru steam ?
