Default bump -- very frustrated with text overlap

I would also like to reach out to the developers here -- what is the plan to fix this? I just spent 35 bucks and not happy..

Hello, yes, can anyone respond? The game is really not very playable on the Mac. If I were 1c I'd be asking for my money back from whatever 2-bit operation did the MacOS port. Here's an example:

It's too bad, I really did want to play on the Mac.

I just bought it and found this problem too.

I found a workaround, set the game resolution at 1280x960, it seems that it was designed to run at that size, because the text renders fine.

Actually the all the art assets (including text) for whole game are built around 1280x1024. If you run that resolution in a window you'll notice everything is instantly way sharper. Any other mode is compressing or stretching it.

I don't know what kind of resources they have as a developer after their relative success with the series, but hopefully in the future they'll be able to design text and graphics that work in all resolutions. The best bet is to have menu/hud elements that can reposition, then for indoor screens have them sit on top of a widescreen background where the sides aren't as visually important.
