No different with a re-install so went to the Nvidea website and downloaded again. The original Beta I downloaded was 160Mb and this new one is 201Mb and after installing this one the option to 'change screen res' is now listed.

Apart from the file size, the only other difference is one has 'English' in the file name and the new one has 'International'. May be it was a duff file/download?

Yea, unfortunately you will not be able to, sorry dude...many monitor manufacturers are misleading people just to get the sale and the almighty buck in their hands. You would need to purchase a monitor that is advertised as, and is, a "true 120hz" note the word true...here, read through this for a full understanding of 120hz...

Probably a duff d/l. Mine is called:-
301.24-desktop-win7-winvista-64bit-international-beta.exe
and Propeties gives it as 200Mb, Explorer gives it a 205,794Kb

Basically its an archive (I can open it with 7zip) so maybe the CP content was damaged in some way.

That's another very important fact for those looking to buy one...I love this Planar, it uses the Samsung display with the guts being the renowned Planar brain. Nvidia 3D vision logo embedded in the case front. Anyone in need of replacing their monitor, or thinking of getting a 120hz...buyer beware

Cheers, then uninstall these drivers, run the driver cleaner then re-install.

install over the top it removers older drivers itself. I removed other drivers through control panel, and windows always reloaded drivers on start up which can cause issues.
