Because if the people in Russia are anything like the workers in the UK - They will want to knock off work as early as possible. Like midday.

If there is problems that need quickfix, then they must work on Saturday.

Better release at begin or mid of a week, because if there is a greater problem with the patch (like the last ctd by explosions) they can react quickly.

Makes sense, but since it is a beta patch which can be easily removed by checking your game files via steam, there isn't an absolute enforcement to work over weekend for a quick fix imho.

There will always be something to polish, and after all it is a beta and some items requiring correction must be expected. If it is smooth and ctd free all the developers are going to get from the sane majority is a big thank you.

Time to put the pencil down and release it, apart from anything else if the developers have been working as hard as suggested they must be knackered and could do with a break.

Remember they have to upload it to a few different places and that takes time so I would look for Friday at the earliest and if anyone is listening please use Torrents as well.
