Note the bold..

Not sure what that tells you, or others, but what that tells me is they reailse the CTD is, was, or could be (post patch) PC depended

Here ya go Ace:

"Blacksix:
Yes, of course. We have a group of testers was flying parallel to the old version and crash all the time."

If you can remove the rose colored lenses for a sec, you will see he is talking about the old version which is what we are all flying now. What you posted is results from testing on the new patch version which none of us have yet. IE everyone has CTD's at some point. Memory leaks are universal and some might not experience them if they quit after every mission or limit their flying sessions. Also depends on how much memory someone has in their machine before they CTD when the leak fills it up.

That would make sense if Furbs said that 99% of the devs had CTD's on the patch their testing right now. He was talking about CTD's that we are having with what we are flying right now. In that case, 99% is an accurate statement. Let me know if your still struggling with this fairly simple timeline and I will bust out some crayons and put together some pie charts and flow graphs for ya.

The patch took so long because the CTD is PC-related, and thus the patch will be obliged to reconfigure every single PC on this earth to eliminate CTD's. Simple logics, guys.

Surely all Aces is saying is that just because the devs are not experiencing CTD's anymore it does not preclude the possibility that we will, I'm sure some bright spark will find a way to crash it that the devs have missed
