Ah, so do you have any good links concerning the installation of modact?

I assume it has added effects and has fixed some aircraft graphic model issues..?

That canopy glazing in the mod P40 N is terrible, probably worse even than the incorrect dihedral and the improper radiator inlet.

The Hawk 87s in game need an entirely new model.

The 81s however, are really quite good.

Your right, the stock P-40N is way better...
I simply don't see what your talking about with the canopy.
OP you should do a little bit of looking around as there is a thread here about the modact and mods that have been used with 4.11 successfully.

Will I still be able to play 4.11 with my friends who have 4.11 unmodded?

Bingo!
My current favorite is DBW, but its really optimized for offline play.
Theres also UP3 and HSFX, pretty much the same but UP3 has more content.
Whichever you choose your going to love it!
