109 bombing

I tried posting this message a minute or two ago but it appears to have failed. Sorry if this is a double post.

I'm unable to get a bomb loadout to work on my 109. I've gone and added it to a loadout and saved at every screen as recommended in the loadout bug threads, saving and clicking ok at each stage.

When I'm ready to bring it into a campaign or quick mission, the pre-flight loadout screen confirms my changes: bomb holder plus a bomb, when I fly however, I have no bomb, but I do end up qith the hold/release mechanism on some attempts.

Anyone know what I'm doing wrong or how to fix it?
