Those kits look great though! Now I'm even more tempted to get that Lightning! (Although I will rescue the Ju88 first! ) I agree with the old Revell point though. I got their old Typhoon (the Hawker kind, not the Eurofighter) and it's just naff in places. The undercarridge doors fall well short of covering the bays (although the fit is perfect, their just clearly not long enough by about an inch or so, though that's another one of my favourite things about Revell, that you can usually do them gear up without chopping away too much) and the plastic is terribly warped in places, particularly around the ailerons, probably because the mold was old when it was made. I only really got it to get used to painting the RAF Grey-Green in large scale though, so it's not a huge problem. Their newer kits are just awesome for the price though, nothing comes close really.

Thanks for the tips mate, I know now more than ever I need a Revell 1/32 Hunter in my collection ... Tamiya or Trumpeter are not going to do it, might as well settle with the old but good Revell Kit.

I think even if they did, I think it still wouldn't be as good. Aside from the lack of an engine, everything is really spot on and the detailing on the outside is extremely crisp. Good luck finding one anyway, and happy modelling!

And the two 1/6 scale Big Bike kits from Tamiya I recently bought ... I owned a real Suzuki Katana 1000/1100 in the early 80's in the prime of my life, raced it too ... hence my name.
