On Fridays we publish information updates about the current situation and the next game. Friday updates and patch are not connected.

But, considering negative mood of users, we can stop to publish information updates on Fridays for a while.

I do not think honestly that any of us here are negative, just passionate, as you are I am sure, about this great project!

Black6 as one of the more vocal members of this forum i want to say my frustration and questioning of the devs is in no way directed at you.
I think you have a very hard job and are doing your best with what you are given.

Thanks for trying your best in what looks to be a impossible job with little or no info or help from above.

That being said...threats to hold back updates as some sort of punishment after the year CLOD has had are completely out of order and will not sit well with PAYING CUSTOMERS though it probably says alot more than was intended.

I Buy my game.

I get dissapointed with the problems on release but believe in MG when they say just wait we will fix it.

Told with each patch that things have been fixed that clearly have not.

Silence.

1 year later....

Silence.

I wait because I am forced to wait.

Communication finally starts again.

I listen when the community is told the beta is almost ready.

Public scorning now begining by figures in power here when responses are unfavourable to exaggerations of timelines and content.

Then threats of silent treatment start.

Many pilots do not buy the game because it does not work well

Many pilots do not buy the game because they rely on 1c

Many pilots are looking for alternatives because they believe that no solution.

Each day fewer pilots play this sim

By the time it fixed, many pilots will not want to know anything about 1c and
its simulators.

The patience of many is exhausted.

Luckily mine did not, and I encourage them to buy the game

I for one don't care to hear about any sequal news in the Friday Update. I am only interested in THE PATCH. If we don't get the patch on friday, or solid intel on when it will be released and what it will include, I could not care less.

Somebody should remind Luthier his future pay checks will depend people like me paying for BOM, and that will depend on CLOD being fixed.
At the moment im keeping my money.

To be correct many pilots have bought the game at full price and have played it only a pair of hours. According to Steam only 2 friends of mine (20 of them have bought it ) are still playing it. And both are active on this message board.

Anyway I ask myself how can you still encourage people to have faith in Clod's development? What did they in this year to not lose your trust? BlackSix's presence here has been the greatest thing in this period of time... nothing more.

BlackSix, I assure you that you're still welcomed here, from fanboys (of course...) and bad-ugly-immature users (all the ones not wearing pink glasses...) like me too.

About the patch I would gladly receive this answer: "there will not be any patch, BoM will merge with CloD... so wait and buy BoM."
Writing that the patch's release is near again and again and agin is not positive.

A whole generation of pilots learned to treasure the Spitfire for its delightful response to aerobatic manoeuvres and its handiness as a dogfighter. Iit is odd that they had continued to esteem these qualities over those of other fighters in spite of the fact that they were of only secondary importance tactically. Thus it is doubly ironic that the Spitfire’s reputation would habitually be established by reference to archaic, non-tactical criteria.

its like, u bought a Porsche for full price, but u get a Porsche with VW Engine 125HP and no Leather and so on, then u go to the Seller and want a Porsche what u paid for, and the Seller says to u: "oh hmm, wait for our next Model in 1 year, maybe it will be a complete Car, just wait and buy this"... instead to repair or fix ur current bought Full Price-Porsche...

i can play CloD, yes...but not with all the content, what 1C has promised... and what we have paid for....to pay for a sequel called "BoM" , so that we could play "Clod" with promised content is a bit hard for customers, i think...

i still waiting for the upcoming patch...and have much hope for Clod and maybe BoM, but a few words from Luthier himself, about the current state of "CloD" would be more helpful, than stopping to inform us, whats going on...
i think most "CloD" buyers are scared about to bought the game as betatesters for the Sequel we have to buy, too . so we bought a game for nothing, since lot of them cant play it...

Hey Blacksix.

Thank you for your efforts.

I guess Luthier told you to say that to us. Well, what can I say, I tried to be supportive all this year, but as a customer I don't need anyone's condescendence. so you can tell Luthier that I don't need any more updates from him, and please thank him very much on behalf of me for all his efforts.

Please note I am not upset about the patch, I only dislike being treated like a kid. If you treat and judge the whole by the behaviour of a few, I am sold out.

BTW, before I go back to my usual silence, tell him my last question: "this negative users" as we have been defined -as a whole- have been asked - as a whole - for help in a several threads; you may consider to give - to the whole - some feedback if you don't want to be unfair, and keep your loyal base of supporters.

Many thanks for listening to my thoughts. Sorry if it causes you some inconvenience, and kudos to you for all the respect you showed to us since you came.

SG1_Lud. 4 copies bought. 678 hours gameplay.

These were my words, without consultation with the chief.
