And, I found that enganging the AutoPilot will boost the FPS on my PC about 15 or more...

A few quick things... For NVIDIA users, that update their drivers. When you stall your drivers, the first thing you need to do is go into the control panel and set them to single display mode. They default at multi gpu setting . Like were all running sli or crossfire setups. This will give a decent performance increase.
I also found the shimmering bad.. I went in the config file in the 1C documents folder.I set Drawifnotfocused=0 to 1. I didn't see a hit in frames, and it seemed to reduce the shimmering quite a bit. I also don't notice the constant draw in circle that is around the aircraft. Possibly helped with studdering.
I'm not saying this is the HolyGrail of tweak.. but it seemed to work well for me.. give it a shot and report your results..

Oh.. and Im also running the Gtx 460.. but its the 2gig version running at 800 Hz..

I cannot use the latest 301.42 Nvidia driver because it is halfed my FPS. The game is running on 25-35 fps on the ground and 50-60 fps at 3000m altitude on max settings with the previous 296.10 driver but I've got only 13-15 fps on the ground with the 301.42 . Have anybody problem with the 301.42 Nvidia driver ? As I know the 301.42 version include the new FXAA method. Is it working in the game now?

Yes driver injected FXAA works, as do other types. I'm using latest Beta 304.79, which seem fine but I've not compared.

Septic.

Ok this is probably going to be a dumb question but here goes:
When I install my Nvidia drivers, yes multi diplay mode is selected - now I run two monitors, on my single GTX 460 video card. I always assumed this mode was selected automatically, since I have two active monitors attached?

Are you saying that option is related to runing two or more video cards, rather than the number of monitors?

Talking Power management tweak win8 - finally no stutters

After weeks of tweaking and using all the information I could find on this forum and the internet I finally found the one to finish my performance tweaks.
Find the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Icon in START. Open it up and go to the Performance tab and set Link Power Management to disable. You must restart your machine for it to take effect.
I had tried all other performance/stuttering tweaks with minimal results, and after doing this my stutters are finally gone.
Thanks to this community who has posted all their fixes.
Here is the Best tweaking guide ever for COD. Even if not overclocking (I'm not), the settings in this guide let me fly stutter free on the highest in game settings! Give it a try, you won't be sorry.

I have turned antialiasing completely off using SMAA and even using performance setting in NVCP. It looks beautiful and runs smooth as glass.
