There's no way that it's just the UK skimming emails, websites, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if all major 'Western' countries were up to it. The idea that the Internet is anonymous and free is rapidly fading. I committed Facebook suicide about 2 years ago because I started to get the feeling that the less I put about myself on the Internet the better. That and the fact that it's fake, over sentimental, knee jerky, vacuous and the single, most targeted, marketing campaign tool on the planet.
