The retardation of the developers is mindblowing. Here we have an issue that affects nearly 1/2 the gaming market, and would probably only take them a day to fix, yet they're doing nothing.

Are they too busy making 5MB+ textures of Luftwaffe ground-crew underwear?

So its the CoD devs fault that ATI cant produce a driver that stops the problem ?

A pop at the devs and a pop at the Luftwaffe in a post that's accusing others of retardation.

Anymore nonsense and its a holiday for you.

You really want to blame this on ATI/AMD? Just like the 3 blue lines...?
I have a feeling its the code and not the drivers..we have attempted to fix this for half a year. AMD says they can't replicate the problem which is B.S.

What ??

were talking about the intro movie not the horizon lines,

Take a deep breath and read the actual thread correctly, its not affecting Nvidia users its just a movie file whats that got to do with the code.

the fix is rename/remove the file.

Are you a coder? Do you have proof it's an ATI driver issue and not a 1c issue? If so, then share it. If not, then you're just flexing your moderator muscle to win an online argument.

So if Nvidia users don't suffer the problem, its the CoD code then causing ATI software to run at slow speeds because of an Windows Media Audio/Video file (.wmv) is what you are saying ??

Who's arguing I'm just pointing out to a reported abusive post from a member, that calling the devs retards is retarded.

Correct, they're not as forthcoming in the development as Nvidia were/are.

Fault is in how ATI detects 2D/3D applications, and how it chooses power saving/performance modes. ATI uses low performance mode for intro movie (correct behavior), but it does not switch to higher once in a GUI/3D world (incorrect behavior). If you remove intro movie, game skips its playback, and ATI does not enter that low performance mode at start of the game.
