Meyerm, the question made by Icefire is the key.
are you sure you got Il-2 Sturmovik? (not birds of prey) Which version do you have? IIRC I-16 and Ju87 were flyable since day cero. That is a game form 2001. And still kickin`. Not a single empty promiss , just a big thank to the old Il.2.
