This is my first experience with Steam so I'm hoping (according to some of the replies) there's cause for hope of more positive experiences. It's all back to normal tonight and the servers got back up in a few minutes time. No harm done.

BTW, you don't want to be naked in my neighborhood. It snowed for awhile this morning.
