Usually when a development is hiring its very good news. Start to worry when the development starts to lay people off. At the moment this development is hiring and working on the next patch. Not sure how people can find this to be a negative situation. We just had news / patch a few weeks ago, and its going to take atleast a couple months to add another patch, so give it a rest.

Are they hiring additionally or replacing that is the crux.How long will it take to get a new programmer up to speed on something as complex as this?.
The saying also states "too many cooks spoil the broth" . As long as they all work together. An update from the team would be nice though.
